弥勒菩薩が掘られた小刀。弥勒菩薩は慈愛や友愛の象徴であり、往々にして美しい、可愛らしい菩薩として描かれます。職人の吉原様は弥勒菩薩の可愛らしい様子の描写に工夫を入れたと話しています。
