Takamatsu is home of the historical Matsudaira Clan, an important feudal lord during the Edo Period, as well as many recognized product designers during the postwar era including George Nakashima and Isamu Noguchi.


MATSUYAMA

Matsuyama not only serves the largest city in Shikoku and capital of the Ehime Prefecture, but is also the setting for Natsume Soseki's popular novel, "Botchan." Relax in onsens and visit the majestic Matsuyama Castle.
